ZINCALUME® steel Fascia cover gives a great-looking cover up to old timber fascia.

Crafted from ZINCALUME® steel, this product is impervious to contortion, shrinking, or decay, ensuring a maintenance-free experience. Our Metal Fascia cover system conceals aging timber fascia, giving it a renewed appearance. Designed to fit over your current fascia boards snugly, these covers effectively conceal any cosmetic imperfections. To achieve optimal results, consider on-site trimming of the fascia cover to align with your existing fascia board height.

 

Custom cut to prevent waste gives extra savings and is designed to integrate perfectly with gutters.

 

What is the steel thickness of the fascia cover?

The base metal thickness is 0.42mm.

MATERIAL SPECIFICATIONS: Next generation ZINCALUME® aluminium/zinc/magnesium alloy coated steel complies with AS 1397:2011 G550, AM125 (550 MPa minimum yield stress, 125 g/m2 minimum coating mass).

METAL & TIMBER COMPATIBILITY Lead, copper, bare steel and green or some chemically-treated timber are incompatible with this product; thus, don’t allow any contact of the product with those materials, nor discharge of rainwater from them onto the product.

FASCIA COVER INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

 

Fixing this new ZINCALUME® Fascia cover system into place is far easier with two people. The main reason is that it is flimsy and could bend easily if lifted incorrectly. Now simply push the fascia cover over your old timber fascia and screw it into place using a 7 x 25 bugle screw somewhere around the top where the gutter will hide it.

Unlike the standard metal fascia. The clips required to attach the gutter to this product are the same clips you would need to connect to a timber fascia. INTERNAL or EXTERNAL gutter clips.                                                                                                                                                    

Products you may need with this are external fascia mitres and internal cover caps.
