People often wonder – how on earth do I work out how many roofs sheets and what lengths do I need?
The length of sheets required is obtained by measuring the distance from the ridge to the fascia and adding 50mm for overhang at the gutter or low end.
The number of sheets required is obtained by measuring the width of the roof area in metres and divide by the sheet cover (i.e .762mm for corrugated sheets or .700mm for Klip Loc sheets)
Example – a roof 8 metres wide would require 11 sheets of corrugated roofing.
Remember to always round up – you would hate to be caught short one sheet!
