Foam Cell Multipurpose Foil Insulation for Queensland Roofs, Walls & Floors
A bare metal roof in a Queensland summer works against you twice. It radiates heat straight down into the room, and on humid nights the cool underside sweats - the same condensation that drips onto ceilings and soaks whatever insulation sits below it.
Foam Cell handles both in one layer - a reflective foil sarking and anti-condensation barrier in a single roll. The foil face turns radiant heat back before it reaches the roof cavity, and the XPE foam core behind it adds a thermal break, keeping the steel's underside closer to cavity temperature so it's slower to hit dew point. Any condensate that does form is held clear of your ceiling. It's thin enough to sit under the sheet without eating into fixing clearances.
The same layer does the job in a wall, under a floor, or lining a shed - one product across the jobs where you'd otherwise stock three. Each roll covers 30m², enough for a single carport or a small shed roof. It pairs naturally under corrugated COLORBOND® roofing sheets or against any of the profiles in our insulation range.
It's light enough for one person to roll out flat and lay unassisted. Lap each run over the next at the 150 mm flap and staple or tape the joins.
