Is 190mm the Right Size?
190mm is a valley for most domestic roofs. Go larger where two big roof areas drain into one valley, or where the pitch is low and water sits rather than runs.

How to Measure and Order
- ✔ Measure the valley from ridge to gutter along the slope, not off the plan
- ✔ Match the colour of the roof it sits under. On a tiled roof, match the tile or the gutter
Installing Valley Iron
- ✔ Goes down before the roof covering, over the sarking and valley boards
- ✔ Start at the gutter and work up so each length laps over the one below
- ✔ Rivet and seal the laps with silicone. Keep fixings out of the water path
- ✔ Cut sheets or tiles back so the centre of the valley stays clear
