SPANDEK® Foam Infill Strip, 700mm
Profiled foam strip that fills the eight rib hollows on SPANDEK® sheeting where the roof is open to the outside: the gutter edge, the top plate under an apron or wall flashing, and under barge cappings. It stops wind, dust, leaves, birds and wasps getting under the roof. It is not waterproofing; the sheet laps and flashings do that.

Which sheet does it fit?
SPANDEK® and equivalent eight-rib profiles: 700mm cover, ribs at 88mm centres. The strip is 700mm long, 31mm overall, with 26mm humps to fill each rib. COLORBOND® or ZINCALUME® makes no difference.
How is it fitted?
Press it into the profile before the sheet is screwed down or the flashing fixed. No adhesive, no tools. Cut with a knife where a run ends mid-strip. Don't crush it flat or it stops filling the ribs.
Is it fire rated?
No. Not fire retardant. In a BAL-rated build the closure at the sheet edge may need to be a fire-rated product or a metal closure; check your BAL report.
