Why ZINCALUME® instead of galvanised?
ZINCALUME® is BlueScope's aluminium-zinc alloy coating. It outlasts galvanised steel in the same exposure, which is why it replaced gal on most Australian roofs. Suits coastal, rural and high-exposure sites. Use it for roofing and wall cladding on homes, sheds and commercial buildings.
What are the sheet specs?
Base metal thickness 0.42mm BMT. Cover width 762mm, rib height 16mm. Minimum roof pitch 5°. Lengths from 1.0m to 10.0m, cut to order, length tolerance ±20mm. For a heavier gauge see ZINCALUME® Corrugated .48 BMT. For a lower pitch, see ZINCALUME® TRIMDEK®, which goes down to 2°.
ZINCALUME® or COLORBOND®?

Which screws and accessories do I need?
12 x 50 Multifix roof screws through the crest, corrugated foam infill strips at the ridge and eave, ZINCALUME® ridge capping and flashings to finish.
