Roof flashings help seal and protect vulnerable areas of a roof from water ingress. They are commonly used around roof edges, ridges, barges, parapets, valleys, wall connections, windows and other transitions where roofing sheets and surfaces meet.
Our range includes ready-made and custom roof flashings for Australian homes, sheds, garages, patios and commercial buildings. We supply popular flashing types including barge cappings for TRIMDEK® roofs, COLORBOND® barge capping roof flashing, apron flashings, ridge cappings, valley gutters and valley flashings, box gutters, parapet cappings, window flashings including Z window flashings and Z flashings.
Manufactured from genuine BlueScope steel, our flashings are designed to match COLORBOND® and ZINCALUME® roofing products and perform in harsh Australian conditions.
Roof flashing is used to seal joins, edges and transitions on a roof to help direct water away and reduce the risk of leaks. Common applications include barges, ridges, valleys, parapets, wall abutments and around windows.

Every roof flashing has a specific job. Choosing the right type depends on where on the roof it's installed (ridge, valley, wall junction, gable edge, parapet) and which roof profile you're using (Corrugated, Trimdek®, Klip-Lok®). Below is a guide to the flashing types we stock in genuine BlueScope COLORBOND® and ZINCALUME® steel.
Ridge capping seals the apex of a pitched roof where two roof planes meet. It prevents wind-driven rain from entering at the roof's highest point and gives the roof line its finished look. Choose roll top for Corrugated profiles, flat ridge for Trimdek® and Klip-Lok®, with the angle matched to your roof pitch.
Apron flashings seal the join where the roof meets a vertical wall — also known as a roof-to-wall flashing. They direct water away from the wall surface and prevent leaks at one of the most vulnerable points on the roof. Match the apron profile to your roof sheet: Corrugated, Trimdek®, or Klip-Lok®.
Valley flashings (also called valley gutters) channel water down the internal angle where two roof slopes meet. They handle high water flow during heavy rain — undersized or poorly installed valleys are a common source of leaks. Choose the width based on the roof area draining into the valley.
Barge cappings seal the gable end of the roof where sheets meet the barge board. They cover the sheet edge for a finished look and create a watertight barrier against wind-driven rain at the roof edge. Profile-specific sizes available for Corrugated, Trimdek® and Klip-Lok®.

Box gutters are square-section gutters used internally — typically where a roof valley would otherwise carry too much water, or in commercial/industrial flat-roof applications. They handle high flow rates and require precise sizing based on catchment area.
Window flashings (also called Z flashings for their angled profile) seal the top of windows and door openings on cladded walls, preventing water from running back into the wall cavity. Available in 100mm and 150mm widths to suit standard cladding and frame sizes.
Parapet cappings seal the top of a parapet wall — most often used on commercial buildings, modern flat-roof homes, and any vertical wall section that needs weather protection at the top edge. Width options 130mm and 150mm to suit standard parapet wall thicknesses.
Right angle flashings and corner cappings finish external corners on cladding, sheds, and wall-to-wall junctions. They give a clean architectural line at the corner and protect the cut edge of sheeting. 50x50mm for narrow corners, 100x100mm and 140x140mm for wider applications.
